Staff will assist with meal preparation, shopping, daily living skills, community integration, recreational activities, etc. on an as needed basis. Some respite could be on regular basis as required by families of children with disabilities (Autism, Mental Retardation, etc.); ages vary from 4 years of age and up.
Qualification: High School diploma is a must. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Applicants must have the desire to provide support to developmentally disabled adults or children as they work toward achieving their maximum degree of independence. Person required to have effective verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to obtain required First Aid , CPR and other offered GMPI trainings.
